In the shelter of a tree

The card I have for you today is a Z Fold Card.  This type of card is certainly not new and is trending with quite a few appearing on Pinterest as of late.  I chose to use the Painted Blooms DSP which has a nice selection of colors.  I accented the DSP with Daffodil Dash and Blushing Bride card stock.  The stamp set is one of my personal favorites Sheltering Tree, this is a photopolymer stamp set and offers a truly detailed stamped image.  For the background I took a large acrylic block and colored it with a variety of watercolor markers (in this case all shades of blue), misted it heavily with water and then stamped the block on the image.  I'm pleased with the effect I think it turned out wonderfully.  I encourage you to give this technique a try - you'll be pleased with the results.

As always thanks for looking and yes HE stamps!
